International Credit Union Day is Thursday, October 15, and we’re celebrating you, our valued members!

This year’s theme, “Inspiring Hope for a Global Community,” is especially appropriate as nations around the world continue to battle the coronavirus health crisis and adjust to the new reality. Credit unions have and will continue to be a source of financial assistance and hope for their members, in keeping with the founding mission of credit unions, “People Helping People.”

Our celebration this year will be different from previous years because of ongoing community health concerns. Members are always welcome to visit the branches, but instead of enter-to-win prize giveaways, we will have random drawings based on a list of all Aloha Pacific FCU and its Divisions primary members in good standing ($5 minimum in a savings account and no delinquent loans).

We will give away:

  • Ten (10) $100 grand prizes
  • Thirty (30) $25 prizes

The winners will be contacted by phone or email on file, and the prizes will be deposited into the winners’ credit union savings accounts. So now is a great time to update your information with us if there are changes to your phone number, email address and other basic information. Here is the link to the Account Update Form, which must be dropped off at a branch or mailed to:

If you do visit a branch on Thursday, October 15, we’ll be celebrating with a mahalo gift for primary members, with transaction, while supplies last.

OFFICIAL RULES:

No purchase necessary. Winners will be drawn at random, based on a list of all primary members of Aloha Pacific FCU and its Divisions, at the end of the business day, October 15. A total of ten (10) $100 grand prizes and thirty (30) $25 prizes will be given away, deposited into the winners’ credit union savings accounts.

No entry necessary. All primary members in good standing (minimum of $5 in a savings account and no delinquent loans) of Aloha Pacific FCU and its Divisions are eligible to win a prize. APFCU staff, Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee members are not eligible to win a grand prize.

Odds of winning a prize are 1 in approximately 60,000, which is the number of credit union primary members.

Winners will be notified by phone or email information on file. Winners have three (3) business days to respond. In the event that a winner does not respond within the time period, alternate names will be drawn.

By entering the drawing, winners agree that their names and photos may be used in publicity material in all forms of media, including social media; and may be named in a winners list. For a list of winners, please email marketing@alohapacific.com.
