Compliance Manager, Full-time

Department: Compliance

Location: Kaimuki Plaza: 3465 Waialae Avenue, Honolulu

Job Summary: Responsible for the overall management of the compliance program related to but not limited to consumer lending, depository, electronic banking, and fair lending regulations. Responsible for assisting and supporting the Credit Union with annual risk assessments, performing compliance monitoring and testing, determining degrees of compliance, identifying regulatory risk issues, and providing subject matter expertise, guidance, and technical assistance. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, or related field, or equivalent financial institution experience and business-related college-level courses or financial industry-specific training. Minimum six (6) years of financial industry experience with demonstrated progressive responsibilities. Minimum of three (3) years of financial institution compliance experience. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a management role in a financial institution or industry-related trade association strongly preferred. Knowledge of credit union's products, services and systems preferred. Knowledge of credit unions' or bank laws, regulations and regulatory agencies preferred. Knowledge of related state and federal compliance regulations specifically related to fair and responsible banking. Knowledge of lending and deposit operations. Extensive knowledge and understanding of financial institution lending activities and other banking functions. Experience with Regulation B (ECOA), Regulation F (FDCPA), Regulation V (FCRA), Regulation X (RESPA), and Regulation Z (TILA) required. Knowledgeable of compliance laws, rules, regulations (with a special emphasis on consumer protection regulations), such as MLA, SCRA, UDAAP, and any other regulations. Credit must be in good standing. Must be bondable pursuant to §713.3(b) of the NCUA’s Rules and Regulations.

Director of Information Technology, Full-time

Department: Kaimuki Plaza: 3465 Waialae Avenue, Honolulu

Location: Information Technology

Job Summary: Responsible for directing the planning, development, procurement, implementation, and maintenance of all Credit Union information technology products and services. Formulating and administering IT strategies, policies, procedures, goals, and objectives. Develops IT services and solutions to effectively meet the future needs of Credit Union users. Ensures that IT services are seamless, transparent, and effectively delivered, and that problems are promptly resolved. Coordinates IT activities with other departments, and shares information with assigned boards and committees. Supervises and appraises the activities of subordinate Managers and ensures the cost-effective use of Credit Union resources Minimum Qualifications: Requires a bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university; or five (5) years related experience and/or training and five (5) years management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience to effectively perform job responsibilities. Financial industry experience highly preferred. Credit must be in good standing. Must be bondable pursuant to §713.3(b) of the NCUA’s Rules and Regulations.

Information Security Analyst, Full-time

Department: Information Technology

Location: Kaimuki Plaza: 3465 Waialae Avenue, Honolulu

Job Summary: Oversees or participates in planning, developing, implementing, testing, monitoring, and reviewing the credit union’s information security and security operations programs to protect information assets and mitigate risks for unauthorized access, disclosure, and misuse. Designs, implements, and maintains security solutions/controls to actively detect and mitigate threats. Develops plans, policies, standards, and procedures to support the Information Security Program (ISP). Actively participates in the response and reports all related security events and incidents. Works with technical and business unit staff to ensure that deployed technologies are effectively and efficiently providing the intended security measures/controls consistent with established policies and procedures. As it relates to security, provides production support, maintenance, and monitoring of systems/applications. Delivers security awareness training and management reports as required. Participates and supports IT Governance requirements. Minimum Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Management, related discipline or equivalent, and three (3) years of experience in information security and or security operations. Must have functional knowledge of information systems, information security, and project management. Understanding of vulnerability analysis and exploitation techniques. Good interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with management and end-users. Security+ certification or equivalent preferred. Credit must be in good standing. Must be bondable pursuant to §713.3(b) of the NCUA’s Rules and Regulations.

Internal Auditor, Full-time

Department: Kaimuki Plaza: 3465 Waialae Avenue, Honolulu

Location: Internal Audit

Job Summary: Assists the Director of Internal Audit in planning, performing, and reporting internal audits. Assists in performance of operational, financial or compliance audits in assigned areas. Assists in determining whether controls have been established to identify and detect evidence of fraud. Assists in preparation of reports, recommendations, and monitoring of corrective action plans progress. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from an accredited four-year college or university in Accounting or related field; minimum one (1) year audit experience that includes planning, internal control assessments, performing, and reporting audits findings; or equivalent combination of education and experience to effectively perform job responsibilities. A CPA/CIA designation and financial service industry is preferred. Credit must be in good standing. Must be bondable pursuant to §713.3(b) of the NCUA’s Rules and Regulations.

Member Relations Specialist, Full-time

Job Summary: Responsible for providing members the highest level of service, assisting them with new accounts and loans, cross-selling of products and services, completing teller transactions and branch operational tasks. Assists in the daily, weekly, and monthly planning and execution of activities and assignments to help the branch stay on target to reach its annual sales, growth, and service goals. Demonstrates commitment to quality service, professionalism, integrity, enthusiasm, respect, good work ethic, and positive attitude to achieve the highest standards of member service when performing duties and assignments. Minimum Qualifications: Must have detailed-oriented and high standard of confidentiality/work ethics. High school diploma or equivalent required. Must have a minimum of two (2) years related experience and/or training. Six (6) months underwriting experience required; ability to analyze/understand credit reports and possess basic knowledge of bank underwriting. Credit must be in good standing. Must be bondable pursuant to §713.3(b) of the NCUA’s Rules and Regulations.

Mortgage Servicing Specialist, Full-time

Department: Lending -- Mortgage

Location: Kaimuki Plaza: 3465 Waialae Avenue, Honolulu

Job Summary: Responsible for supporting all activities related to the servicing of residential and commercial mortgages belonging to the credit union as well as loans serviced on behalf of our credit union partners and the FHLB. Requires ability to multi-task, high-level of accuracy, and meet deadlines. Ability to consistently provide prompt and outstanding service to both internal and external parties. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; Minimum of 2+ years mortgage serving or related experience. Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively with co-workers, members, and the public; operate standard office equipment; to critically think; experience in reading loan documents; great listening and comprehending skills to understand information and ideas as presented by borrowers and co-workers. Must be able to sit for extended periods of time and occasionally lift and move up to 20 lbs. in weight. Credit must be in good standing. Must be bondable pursuant to §713.3(b) of the NCUA’s Rules and Regulations.

Relief Teller, Full-time

Department: Branch

Location: East Region: Fort Street, Kailua, Kaimuki, Main, McCabe; West Region: Kapolei, Waikele, Waimalu

Job Summary: Performs relief teller services at various APFCU branches not limited to both teller services and member services in accordance with quality service objectives and credit union policies and procedures (transaction processing, account maintenance, product cross-sales, balancing, and financial transaction record-keeping). Demonstrates commitment to quality service, professionalism, integrity, enthusiasm, respect, good work ethic, and a positive attitude to achieve high-level member satisfaction when performing duties and assignments. Strives to make each member interaction a positive and “wow” experience. Adapts to new work situations and settings quickly and is flexible in relocating to different branches throughout the week/day, as business requires. Minimum Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. High School Diploma required. Minimum one (1) year experience in sales or front-line customer service position and one (1) year cumulative cash handling experience. Knowledge in the use of word processing and spreadsheet programs. Valid Driver’s License and access to a motor vehicle. Must be able to work at any of the Oahu Branches in the region as assigned. Credit must be in good standing. Must be bondable pursuant to §713.3(b) of the NCUA’s Rules and Regulations.

Sales & Marketing Specialist, Full-time

Department: Marketing

Location: Kaimuki Plaza: 3465 Waialae Avenue, Honolulu

Job Summary: This position is responsible for supporting marketing activities that drive brand awareness and business growth for the organization. Will primarily assist in planning, developing, and implementing marketing programs, advertising, promotions, partnerships, member forums, and events. Helps to create and maintain reports as well as other administrative duties. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in marketing, Communication, Journalism, or related field • Minimum of two (2) years full-time work experience in marketing, advertising, public relations, community relations and/or event planning • Strong writing and communication skills with attention to detail • Experience in planning and implementing activities and events • Photography knowledge and experience on how to shoot and edit high-quality photos and video including lighting and composition • Proficiency in graphic editing and design using different software such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator • Experience with basic website content management systems • Experience utilizing performance data and applying to projects and plans • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint Credit must be in good standing.
