Job Summary: The Infrastructure Systems Administrator serves as a technical expert and participates in or oversees a variety of analytical and technical assignments that provide for problem diagnosis and solutions documentation, implementation, administration, support, and maintenance of a variety of hardware, software, and network products in an information technology infrastructure environment. The role is broadly split between providing day to day operational support and maintenance for existing infrastructure services and users of those services, and project-based work leading to the development and deployment of new infrastructure services. Participates and supports IT Governance requirements.
Minimum Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Information Technology Management or equivalent and five (5) years of experience in systems administration and network operations and support. Must have strong knowledge of network systems hardware, networking concepts, and virtualization technologies. Knowledge of Microsoft Desktop and Server technology and infrastructure platforms including Windows desktop and server operating systems, Microsoft 365 applications and tenant management, Active Directory administration, certificate services, and Azure AD. A strong understanding of VMware and supporting technologies, including storage, replication, and backup/restoration. Must understand disaster recovery and business continuity concepts, and how to apply IT technologies to facilitate the implementation of the organization’s BCP and DR Plan.
Credit must be in good standing. Must be bondable pursuant to §713.3(b) of the NCUA’s Rules and Regulations.
