Accountant, Full-time

Department: Accounting

Location: Kaimuki Plaza: 3465 Waialae Avenue, Honolulu

Job Summary: Supporting the financial management and operations of the credit union through the maintenance of accounting records and reports within the guidelines of GAAP, NCUA, Federal, and State Regulations. Responsible for analyzing and reconciling detailed general ledger accounts to ensure accounting records are consistently maintained and with the utmost accuracy. Researches and resolves discrepancies and accounting errors. Maintain and submit weekly reports and daily journal entries. This individual will provide backup support to the Accounting Manager and/or Vice President, Controller. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Accounting or related field from an accredited four-year college or university; minimum of three (3) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Thorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and FASB, financial accounting standards, applicable federal, state and securities regulations. Financial industry and/or credit union experience preferred. Credit must be in good standing. Must be bondable pursuant to §713.3(b) of the NCUA’s Rules and Regulations.

Accounting Manager, Full-time

Department: Accounting

Job Summary: The Accounting Manager is responsible for supervision of the Accounting Department. This position assists the Vice President, Controller, in maintaining procedures that result in accurate financial records and operational efficiency and financial reporting in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and regulatory requirements such as the NCUA. The Accounting Manager assists in the month-end process as well as in the preparation of monthly Board, management, and regulatory reports. • Responsible for full-cycle accounting operations • Direct, coordinate and review work performed by staff • Manage and/or assist on special projects as assigned by the controller • Resolve complex accounting issues, including designing and/or improving accounting processes • Prepare various financial reports to communicate financial information in a manner that can be used to direct operations, as well as comply with regulations • Oversee and/or prepare regulatory reports • Direct the preparation of consolidated financial statements and footnotes in accordance with General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) • Develop each employee to their highest potential by appropriate coaching and training • Work closely with internal and external auditors and examiners Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance or equivalent from an accredited four-year college or university; minimum of five (5) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Thorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and FASB, financial accounting standards, applicable federal, state and securities regulations. Financial industry and/or credit union experience preferred. Must have demonstrated success in training and team motivation.

Branch Manager, Full-time

Department: Branch

Job Summary: Responsible for the profitability, administration and supervision of branch sales and operations within established policies and guidelines. Creates and fosters a branch culture that promotes teamwork, service excellence, relationship building, and staff professionalism. Leads and develops branch personnel to achieve sales goals and service level standards. Generates defined reports to track actual performance to defined sales and services goals, member satisfaction and new business development. Manages staff to ensure all branch operations are implemented according to company standards, policies, and guidelines. Minimum Qualifications: Requires a bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university; five (5) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Two (2) years underwriting experience required. Supervisory experience required. NMLS License required. Valid Hawai'i Driver’s License required and access to a motor vehicle. Credit must be in good standing. Must be bondable pursuant to §713.3(b) of the NCUA’s Rules and Regulations.

Branch Supervisor, Full-time

Department: Branch

Location: Kaimuki Branch: 3625 Harding Avenue, Honolulu

Job Summary: Responsible for the supervision of the day-to-day operation of the branch, including both the Branch Operations and the Member Relations areas. Assists the Branch Manager in tracking the profitability and performance in achieving the branch's assigned annual sales goals and service level standards. Supports in the coaching, training, and mentoring of the branch staff to achieve branch and individual performance goals and to develop skills in product knowledge, consultative selling, and member service. Participates in the growth of the branch by achieving assigned individual sales goals, service level standards, and SEG servicing and development. Minimum Qualifications: Associate of Arts (AA/AS) degree; four (4) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Extensive knowledge of loan underwriting process and requirements. Knowledge in the use of word processing and spreadsheet programs required. Supervisory experience highly preferred. NMLS License required. Credit must be in good standing. Must be bondable pursuant to §713.3(b) of the NCUA’s Rules and Regulations.

Branch Support Specialist, Full-time

Department: Branch Support

Job Summary: Assists the Branch Support Department with all operational duties in relation to the functions of Branch Support, including online and phone support for all branch related issues, the development and enforcement of branch operating policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance, and the compilation and distribution of administrative branch reports. Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma, business related courses beneficial. Two (2) years related experience with emphasis on branch operations and/or supervisory experience preferred. Credit must be in good standing. Must be bondable pursuant to §713.3(b) of the NCUA’s Rules and Regulations.

Collections Manager, Full-time

Department: Consumer Lending

Location: Kaimuki Plaza: 3465 Waialae Avenue, Honolulu

Job Summary: Responsible for managing and supervising the Collections Department team. Ensures that all applicable regulations and laws are adhered to. Key objectives will be to consistently maintain delinquency ratios and credit losses at or below peer and industry benchmarks. Responsible for taking lead role on all collection activity pertaining to commercial loans and their business entities and personal guarantors. Provides necessary operational support to other departments in the lending division. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college. Five (5) years’ experience in collections, special assets, loan recovery or a related field in a financial institution. Three (3) years’ experience in a managerial position involving direct supervision of staff members. Proficient knowledge of all applicable regulations including Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), CFPB, NCUA, and all other state and federal laws. Prior experience with commercial and residential loans required. Credit must be in good standing. Must be bondable pursuant to §713.3(b) of the NCUA’s Rules and Regulations.

Human Resources Administrator, Full-time

Department: Human Resources

Job Summary: As a part of the Human Resources team, this position performs various human resources professional work in support of Aloha Pacific’s strategic and HR goals. This position involves researching, developing and administering human resources policies, procedures and programs and supporting employee engagement programs. The Human Resources Administrator carries out multiple day-to-day HR responsibilities including recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits administration, payroll administration and employee engagement & recognition activities. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related field. Three (3) years’ experience in Human Resources field. Solid understanding of labor laws and HR fundamentals. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications required. Excellent communications skills – verbal, written, and presentation – required. Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness are necessary. Proficiency in payroll processing is required. Credit must be in good standing. Infrastructure Support Analyst, Full-time

Department: IT

Job Summary: The Infrastructure Support Analyst is responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. Responds to queries, runs diagnostic programs, isolates, and troubleshoots problems, and determines and implements solution. Provides day to day operational support for existing infrastructure services and users of those services and supports/performs project-based work leading to the development and deployment of new infrastructure services. Participates and supports IT Governance requirements. Minimum Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Management, related discipline or equivalent, and two (2) years of experience in end-user support and desktop deployment preferred. Must have functional knowledge of network environments and concepts such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and Active Directory. Knowledge of Microsoft Desktop and Server technology and infrastructure platforms including Windows desktop and server operating systems, Microsoft 365 applications, Microsoft 365 tenant management, and Remote Desktop Services. Credit must be in good standing. Must be bondable pursuant to §713.3(b) of the NCUA’s Rules and Regulations.

Infrastructure Systems Administrator, Full-time

Department: IT

Job Summary: The Infrastructure Systems Administrator serves as a technical expert and participates in or oversees a variety of analytical and technical assignments that provide for problem diagnosis and solutions documentation, implementation, administration, support, and maintenance of a variety of hardware, software, and network products in an information technology infrastructure environment. The role is broadly split between providing day to day operational support and maintenance for existing infrastructure services and users of those services, and project-based work leading to the development and deployment of new infrastructure services. Participates and supports IT Governance requirements. Minimum Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Information Technology Management or equivalent and five (5) years of experience in systems administration and network operations and support. Must have strong knowledge of network systems hardware, networking concepts, and virtualization technologies. Knowledge of Microsoft Desktop and Server technology and infrastructure platforms including Windows desktop and server operating systems, Microsoft 365 applications and tenant management, Active Directory administration, certificate services, and Azure AD. A strong understanding of VMware and supporting technologies, including storage, replication, and backup/restoration. Must understand disaster recovery and business continuity concepts, and how to apply IT technologies to facilitate the implementation of the organization’s BCP and DR Plan. Credit must be in good standing. Must be bondable pursuant to §713.3(b) of the NCUA’s Rules and Regulations.

Internal Auditor, Full-time

Department: Internal Audit

Job Summary: Assists the Director of Internal Audit in planning, performing, and reporting internal audits. Assists in performance of operational, financial or compliance audits in assigned areas. Assists in determining whether controls have been established to identify and detect evidence of fraud. Assists in preparation of reports, recommendations, and monitoring of corrective action plans progress. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from an accredited four-year college or university in Accounting or related field; minimum one (1) year audit experience that includes planning, internal control assessments, performing, and reporting audits findings; or equivalent combination of education and experience to effectively perform job responsibilities. A CPA/CIA designation and financial service industry experience are preferred. Credit must be in good standing. Must be bondable pursuant to §713.3(b) of the NCUA’s Rules and Regulations.

Teller (Relief), Full-time

Location: Oahu Branches

Job Summary: Performs relief teller services at various APFCU branches not limited to both teller services and member services in accordance with quality service objectives and credit union policies and procedures (transaction processing, account maintenance, product cross-sales, balancing, and financial transaction record-keeping). Demonstrates commitment to quality service, professionalism, integrity, enthusiasm, respect, good work ethic, and a positive attitude to achieve high-level member satisfaction when performing duties and assignments. Strives to make each member interaction a positive and “wow” experience. Adapts to new work situations and settings quickly and is flexible in relocating to different branches throughout the week/day, as business requires. Minimum Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
