Call Center Representative, Full-time

Department: Branch

Location: Kaimuki Business Plaza

Job Summary: Responsible for establishing new member accounts, selling and servicing credit union products, and providing excellent service for phone-in members. Performs Call Center responsibilities not limited to both teller services and member services in accordance with quality service objectives and credit union policies and procedures (account/loan servicing transaction processing or, new account servicing, new loan servicing, account maintenance, product cross-sales, balancing, and financial transaction record-keeping). Minimum Qualifications: Requires one-year certificate from college or technical school; or three (3) to six (6) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have knowledge of and experience with customer service principles and practices, and administration and clerical processes. Six (6) months or more in a call center environment highly preferred. Experience in a financial institution highly preferred. Credit must be in good standing. Must be bondable pursuant to §713.3(b) of the NCUA’s Rules and Regulations.

Regional Teller, Full-time

Department: Branch

Location: East Region

Job Summary: Performs relief teller services at various branches not limited to both teller services and member services in accordance with quality service objectives and credit union policies and procedures (transaction processing, account maintenance, product cross-sales, balancing, and financial transaction record-keeping). Minimum Qualifications: Must have detail-oriented and high standard of confidentiality/work ethics. High school diploma or equivalent required. Must have a minimum of one (1) year experience in sales or front-line customer service position and one (1) year cumulative cash-handling experience. Valid Driver's License and access to a motor vehicle required. Teller experience in a financial institution highly preferred. Credit must be in good standing. Must be bondable pursuant to §713.3(b) of the NCUA’s Rules and Regulations.

Teller, Full-time

Department: Branch

Location: Kekaha CU branch, Kauai

Job Summary: Performs branch responsibilities not limited to both teller services and member services in accordance with quality service objectives and credit union policies and procedures (transaction processing, account maintenance, product cross-sales, balancing, and financial transaction record-keeping). Member Relations Specialist, Full-time

Department: Branch

Location: Kahului, Kaimuki, Main, Waikele and Waimalu

Job Summary: Responsible for providing members the highest level of service, assisting them with new accounts and loans, cross-selling of products and services, completing teller transactions and branch operational tasks. Assists in the daily, weekly, and monthly planning and execution of activities and assignments to help the branch stay on target to reach its annual sales, growth, and service goals. Demonstrates commitment to quality service, professionalism, integrity, enthusiasm, respect, good work ethic, and positive attitude to achieve the highest standards of member service when performing duties and assignments. Minimum Qualifications: Must have detailed-oriented and high standard of confidentiality/work ethics. High school diploma or equivalent required. Must have a minimum of two (2) years related experience and/or training. Six (6) months underwriting experience required; ability to analyze/understand credit reports and possess basic knowledge of bank underwriting. Credit must be in good standing. Must be bondable pursuant to §713.3(b) of the NCUA’s Rules and Regulations.

Mortgage Lending Manager, Full-time

Department: Mortgage Lending

Location: Kaimuki Business Plaza

Job Summary: Responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the activities of the Mortgage Loan Department. Recommends, develops, and implements mortgage lending policies, procedures, and products to ensure that the credit union operates in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and its members are being properly served. Exercise prudent judgment and decision making in underwriting and analysis of member credit worthiness. Ensure quality of loans placed into residential loan portfolio, brokered out to lenders, and sold in secondary market. Coordinates and oversees lending and promotional activities, ensuring that all applicable areas of responsibility support strategic objectives and goals. Supports and evaluates performance of assigned personnel. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from an accredited four-year college or university; or five (5) years related work experience in a financial institution or with a mortgage company; or equivalent combination of education and experience to effectively perform job responsibilities. In-depth knowledge of conventional mortgage loan products – first and second lien mortgages, fixed rate, ARMs, hybrids, balloons, construction-permanent financing, etc., secondary market guidelines, wholesale, retail, & correspondent lending. Detailed understanding of residential mortgage sales/solicitation, underwriting (analysis of income, assets, & liabilities), processing, closing, regulatory disclosures, and other pertinent documentation. Proficient understanding of residential mortgage industry (origination and servicing), risk-based pricing models, credit scoring models, automated underwriting systems, collateral valuation methods, pricing strategies and matrices, and credit risk analysis. Experienced with most popular LOS (loan origination systems) and able to process, underwrite, and close a residential mortgage loan. Knowledgeable of all residential lending regulations such as: TRID, Truth-in-Lending Act (Regulation Z), RESPA (Regulation X), HMDA (Regulation C), ECOA (Regulation B), SAFE Act, Flood Disaster Protection Act, Homeowners Protection Act, Dodd-Frank Act, and Mortgage Servicing rules. Credit must be in good standing. Must be bondable pursuant to §713.3(b) of the NCUA’s Rules and Regulations.

Mortgage Loan Officer, Full-time

Department: Mortgage Lending

Location: Varies and Flexible with Branches

Job Summary: Interviews and counsels members about mortgage loans and accepts mortgage loan applications. Establishes and maintains business relationships with members and guides and follows their mortgage loans from application through loan closing. Builds and maintains referral relationships with branches, realtors, builders and other sources of mortgage referral business. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university; or five (5) years lending experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Must have a thorough knowledge of lending in accordance with State and Federal regulations. Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry (NMLS) License or Registration required. Credit must be in good standing. Must be bondable pursuant to §713.3(b) of the NCUA’s Rules and Regulations.

Consumer Lending Specialist, Full-time

Department: Consumer Lending Specialist

Location: Kaimuki Business Plaza

Job Summary: Oversees the consumer loan functions in assisting members and staff in providing information and accepting, approving, and completing loan applications. Minimum Qualifications: Associate degree (AA/AS) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or two (2) to three (3) years lending experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have knowledge of PC applications and basic office. Experience in consumer lending, insurance and/or real estate loans is preferred. Credit must be in good standing. Must be bondable pursuant to §713.3(b) of the NCUA’s Rules and Regulations.

Vice President, Controller, Full-time

Department: Accounting

Location: Kaimuki Business Plaza

Job Summary: Responsible for directing, coordinating, maintaining, and controlling the accounting process in order to fairly state the financial position of the Credit Union. Responsible for accounting for Credit Union assets and liabilities. Manages the Credit Union's financial record keeping. Prepares financial reports for internal and public use. Oversees budgeting, cost accounting, general ledger, accounts payable, fixed asset, accounts receivable, branch statistical reporting, ATM balancing, accounting information systems, and other related areas. Monitors department policies and procedures and implements improvements. Ensures that accounting activities are in accordance with GAAP. Ensures that the Accounting Department supports the overall goals of the Credit Union and that accounting services are delivered professionally and efficiently. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent from an accredited four-year college or university. Minimum five (5) years financial institution or related experience. Must have a CPA license. Must be familiar with all areas of operations within the Accounting Department and have a strong working knowledge of the Credit Union’s accounting policies and procedures. Credit must be in good standing. Must be bondable pursuant to §713.3(b) of the NCUA’s Rules and Regulations.

Branch Support Specialist, Full-time

Department: Branch Support

Location: 832 South Hotel Street

Job Summary: Job Summary Assists the Branch Support Officer and Branch Support Manager with all operational duties in relation to the functions of Branch Support, including on-line and phone support for all branch related issues, the development and enforcement of branch operating policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance, and the compilation and distribution of administrative branch reports. Minimum Requirements: • High School diploma, business related courses beneficial. • Two (2) years related experience with emphasis on branch operations and/or supervisory experience preferred. • Credit must be in good standing. • Must be bondable pursuant to §713.3(b) of the NCUA’s Rules and Regulations.

Infrastructure Support Specialist, Full-time

Department: IT

Location: Kaimuki Business Plaza

Job Summary: Responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. Responds to queries, runs diagnostic programs, isolates problem, and determines and implements solution. Provides day-to-day operational support for existing infrastructure services and users of those services, and project-based work leading to the development and deployment of new infrastructure services. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Management or equivalent and one (1) year of experience in end-user support and desktop deployment preferred. • Must have general knowledge of network environments and concepts such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and Active Directory. • Knowledge of Microsoft Server technology and infrastructure platforms including Windows server operating systems, messaging (Exchange) database (SQL), web proxy (ISA), and Remote Desktop Services. • Credit must be in good standing. • Must be bondable pursuant to §713.3(b) of the NCUA’s Rules and Regulations.
