Accountant, Full-time

Department: Accounting

Location: Kaimuki Plaza: 3465 Waialae Avenue, Honolulu

Job Summary: Supporting the financial management and operations of the credit union through the maintenance of accounting records and reports within the guidelines of GAAP, NCUA, Federal, and State Regulations. Responsible for analyzing and reconciling detailed general ledger accounts to ensure accounting records are consistently maintained and with the utmost accuracy. Researches and resolves discrepancies and accounting errors. Maintain and submit weekly reports and daily journal entries. This individual will provide backup support to the Accounting Manager and/or Vice President, Controller. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Accounting or related field from an accredited four-year college or university; minimum of three (3) year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Thorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and FASB, financial accounting standards, applicable federal, state and securities regulations. Financial industry and/or credit union experience preferred. Credit must be in good standing. Must be bondable pursuant to §713.3(b) of the NCUA’s Rules and Regulations.

Call Center Representative, Full-time

Department: Call Center

Location: Kaimuki Plaza: 3465 Waialae Avenue, Honolulu

Job Summary: Performs Call Center responsibilities not limited to both teller services and member services for phone-in members in accordance with quality service objectives and credit union policies and procedures. Minimum Qualifications: One (1) year certificate from college or technical school; six (6) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have knowledge of and experience with customer service principles and practices, and administration and clerical processes. Six (6) months or more in a call center environment highly preferred. Must be proficient in relevant computer applications and possess keyboarding skills. Must have experience in the usage of office equipment such as telephone, calculator, copier, fax, etc. Knowledge of PC (personal computer), Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and other software applications as applicable. Human Resources Administrator, Full-time

Department: Human Resources

Job Summary: As a part of the Human Resources Team, this position performs various human resources professional work in support of Aloha Pacific’s strategic and HR goals. This position involves researching, developing and administering human resources policies, procedures and programs and supporting employee engagement programs. The Human Resources Administrator carries out multiple day-to-day HR responsibilities including recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits administration, payroll administration and employee engagement & recognition activities. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related field. Three (3) years’ experience in Human Resources field. Solid understanding of labor laws and HR fundamentals. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications required. Excellent communications skills – verbal, written, and presentation skills, required. Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness is necessary. Proficiency in payroll processing is required. Credit must be in good standing. Infrastructure Support Analyst, Full-time

Department: Kaimuki Plaza: 3465 Waialae Avenue, Honolulu

Location: Information Technology

Job Summary: The Infrastructure Support Analyst is responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. Responds to queries, runs diagnostic programs, isolates, troubleshoots problems, and determines and implements solution. Provides day to day operational support for existing infrastructure services and users of those services and supports/performs project-based work leading to the development and deployment of new infrastructure services. Participates and supports IT Governance requirements. Minimum Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Management, related discipline or equivalent, and two (2) years of experience in end-user support and desktop deployment preferred. Must have functional knowledge of network environments and concepts such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and Active Directory. Knowledge of Microsoft Desktop and Server technology and infrastructure platforms including Windows desktop and server operating systems, Microsoft 365 applications, Microsoft 365 tenant management, and Remote Desktop Services. Credit must be in good standing. Must be bondable pursuant to §713.3(b) of the NCUA’s Rules and Regulations.

Member Relations Officer, Full-time

Department: Branch

Location: Kailua Branch: 200 Hamakua Drive, Suite 136, Kailua

Job Summary: Responsible for the direct supervision of the day-to-day member relations activities of the branch: opening new accounts, processing loan applications, completing loan signings, and account servicing tasks. Along with branch management team, creates branch sales strategies, implements plans, and measures progress to ensure the branch stays on target to achieve its annual growth, profitability, and member service goals. Creates individual daily, weekly, and monthly sales plans to meet or exceed individual sales goals. Provides members with the highest level of member service, conducts member meetings and utilizes consultative selling techniques to uncover members’ needs, offering them credit union products and services to meet their needs. Trains, supports and coaches staff in sales and service and lending processes and procedures to achieve both branch and individual performance goals and to develop skills in product knowledge, sales, and member service; supports staff in all aspects of day-to-day branch operations. Works closely with the branch management team on SEG development, growth, and servicing. Minimum Qualifications: Must have detailed-oriented and high standard of confidentiality/work ethics. Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university; three (3) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. One (1) year loan underwriting experience required. NMLS (Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry) License required. Credit must be in good standing. Must be bondable pursuant to §713.3(b) of the NCUA’s Rules and Regulations.

Member Relations Specialist, Full-time

Department: Branch

Location: Fort Street Branch: 988 Fort Street Mall, Honolulu; Main Branch: 832 South Hotel Street, Honolulu

Job Summary: Responsible for providing members the highest level of service, assisting them with new accounts and loans, cross-selling of products and services, completing teller transactions and branch operational tasks. Mortgage Loan Servicing Administrative Assistant, Full-time

Department: Lending

Location: Kaimuki Plaza: 3465 Waialae Avenue, Honolulu

Job Summary: Responsible for providing administrative support, including assisting members with loan servicing questions and performing basic accounting and clerical duties. Maintains departmental records and files and prepares various reports. Process payments and adjustments to mortgage loans. May assist members in setting up automatic payment plans. May disburse PMI and MIP premiums. May assist with taxes and insurance processes and functions. May assist with collection activities on delinquent mortgage loans. May assist with payoff processes and functions. May complete reporting requirements to secondary market investors. Minimum Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent; general understanding of mortgage loans and mortgage processes; general office skills; basic understanding of accounting is preferred; excellent communication; accuracy and thoroughness in work. Part-time Teller, Full-time

Job Summary: Performs teller services at various APFCU branches not limited to both teller services and member services in accordance with quality service objectives and credit union policies and procedures (transaction processing, account maintenance, product cross-sales, balancing, and financial transaction record-keeping). Demonstrates commitment to quality service, professionalism, integrity, enthusiasm, respect, good work ethic, and a positive attitude to achieve high-level member satisfaction when performing duties and assignments. Strives to make each member interaction a positive and “wow” experience. Adapts to new work situations and settings quickly as business requires. Minimum Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. High School Diploma required. Minimum one (1) year experience in sales or front-line customer service position and one (1) year cumulative cash handling experience. Knowledge in the use of word processing and spreadsheet programs. Valid Driver’s License and access to a motor vehicle. Must be able to work at any of the Oahu Branches in the region as assigned. Availability and Compensation: Must be available Mondays – Saturdays and during the holidays season from in the mornings or afternoons for maximum weekly hours of 19.50. Demonstrates commitment to quality service, professionalism, integrity, enthusiasm, respect, good work ethic, and a positive attitude to achieve high-level member satisfaction when performing duties and assignments. Strives to make each member interaction a positive and “wow” experience. Adapts to new work situations and settings quickly as business requires. Minimum Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. High School Diploma required. Minimum one (1) year experience in sales or front-line customer service position and one (1) year cumulative cash handling experience. Job Summary: Performs relief teller services at various APFCU branches not limited to both teller services and member services in accordance with quality service objectives and credit union policies and procedures (transaction processing, account maintenance, product cross-sales, balancing, and financial transaction record-keeping). Demonstrates commitment to quality service, professionalism, integrity, enthusiasm, respect, good work ethic, and a positive attitude to achieve high-level member satisfaction when performing duties and assignments. Strives to make each member interaction a positive and “wow” experience. Adapts to new work situations and settings quickly and is flexible in relocating to different branches throughout the week/day, as business requires. Minimum Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. High School Diploma required. Minimum one (1) year experience in sales or front-line customer service position and one (1) year cumulative cash handling experience. Teller experience in a financial institution highly preferred. Credit must be in good standing. Must be bondable pursuant to §713.3(b) of the NCUA’s Rules and Regulations.

Teller Supervisor, Full-time

Department: Branch

Location: Main Branch: 832 South Hotel Street, Honolulu

Job Summary: Responsible for the direct management and supervision of the teller staff and branch operations functions. Coordinates staffing, and schedules based on projected member traffic and workload. Coaches, mentors, and develops branch staff in branch operational processes and procedures, and cross selling of credit union products and services. Challenges and motivates branch staff to achieve the branch’s assigned profitability, performance, sales, and service level standards and goals. Minimum Qualifications: Requires a High School diploma; two (2) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Supervisory experience preferred. Knowledge in the use of word processing and spreadsheet programs. Must be able to perform the essential duties of the Senior Teller. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES • Supervises two (2) to six (6) subordinate employees in assigned branch. • Responsible for day-to-day branch operations. • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s management philosophies, policies and applicable laws. • Assists Branch Manager in interviewing, hiring, and training employees; assigning, and directing work; evaluating staff performance; and assisting with complaint and problem resolution. Credit must be in good standing. Must be bondable pursuant to §713.3(b) of the NCUA’s Rules and Regulations.
